10 Minutes a day

For my 10 minute I chose to explore an abstract art style that I enjoy using procreate on an iPad. Usually I would use spray paint, air brush, and a fountain pen. Not being able to use my hands to smear paint or manipulate acrylics to create texture made things difficult while working on the flat surface of a tablet.

Being creative for at least an hour out of my day is a must. Looking at a screen is not. Not only did working with a tablet prove challenging to create the art I wanted, but it also forced me to look at a screen for longer than i'd like to, adding to the screen fatigue I feel from 6 hours at school. When I draw or paint I feel present in space, adding to the world. When I work on a screen I don't feel like I'm adding to the world, rather taking away my time to focus on something built by corporations to keep us sucked in to a reality that is manufactured. Do not recommend... unless someone is paying you lol.
